Usk Athletic Club has been at the heart of sport and community in Monmouthshire for more than 100 years.
With over 400 members, the club brings together four thriving sections—tennis, cricket, junior football and netball—providing opportunities for players of all ages and abilities to take part, compete and develop their skills.
Our teams compete successfully in local and national leagues, supported by comprehensive coaching programmes within each section.
Known as one of the leading sporting clubs in Monmouthshire, Usk Athletic Club prides itself on being friendly, inclusive and welcoming, and we are always delighted to welcome new members to our growing sporting community.

Cricket
Cricket has long been a proud part of Usk Athletic Club and continues to play a central role in the club’s sporting life. The Cricket Section runs competitive Men’s and Woman's teams that compete in local and National leagues, offering opportunities for players of different ages and abilities to take part in the game. Alongside league cricket, the section is committed to developing the next generation of players through a strong junior programme and structured coaching. With a friendly club atmosphere and a beautiful setting for the game, the cricket section welcomes new players, supporters and volunteers to become part of the club.
Tennis
The Tennis Section of Usk Athletic Club provides a welcoming and active environment for players of all ages and abilities. With a strong tradition of competitive and social tennis, our members enjoy regular league matches, club competitions and social play throughout the year. A comprehensive coaching programme supports both junior and adult players, helping beginners learn the game and experienced players continue to develop their skills. Whether you are looking to compete, improve your game or simply enjoy tennis in a friendly atmosphere, new members are always warmly welcomed.
Netball
The Netball Section of Usk Athletic Club offers a vibrant and friendly environment for players who enjoy the fast-paced and exciting game of netball. Our teams compete in local leagues and training sessions focus on developing skills, teamwork and fitness. Whether you are an experienced player or returning to the sport after some time away, the section provides opportunities to play competitively while enjoying the social side of the game. New players are always welcome and quickly become part of the supportive netball community at the club.
Junior Football
The Junior Football Section of Usk Athletic Club provides young players with the opportunity to enjoy football in a positive, supportive and well-organised environment. Our teams compete in local leagues while focusing on developing skills, teamwork and a love of the game. Qualified coaches deliver structured training sessions designed to help players progress and gain confidence both on and off the pitch. The section welcomes boys and girls of all abilities and is committed to creating a fun, safe and inclusive football community.
